Lead to Thrive's toolkit

Positive psychology

Positive Psychology is the scientific study of positive human functioning and flourishing on multiple levels. It began in the late 1990s, with researchers Martin Seligman, Mihaly Csikszentmihaly, Christopher Peterson and Barbara Fredrickson. Today, there are many researchers across the world focusing on what helps people thrive.

Lead to Thrive uses the findings from the now extensive field of Positive Psychology in their practice, to help clients develop a more positive approach to living, in business and other aspects of their lives.

Strengths, Character, VIA

The awareness and use of individual strengths has become important in our current workplaces. The research shows that when people are using their natural strengths, at work and in life in general, they are more engaged, more productive and happier. This is great for your team members, your team, your business and your customers. Who wouldn’t want to take advantage of this!

Kay uses a variety of Strengths Tools to help find out what your, and your team’s, strengths are. Once you have this knowledge, it can be applied in many different ways.

disc behavioural profiling

DISC profiling, behaviour

DISC is a behaviour profiling assessment tool which centres on four different behavioural characteristics.
DISC is used in the workplace to improve communications, enhance teamwork and productivity. A DISC assessment enables you to understand yourself better, and also understand the behaviour, motivators, stressors and preferences of other people.

Using DISC increases team functionality, supports the recruitment process, and improves the sales process. Understanding the behaviour of the people in your team helps you become a more effective leader.
